Description

The heaviest crustacean in the world is the Maine lobster. Also known as the American lobster, true lobster, and northern lobster, the lobster is found on the Atlantic coast from Labrador to New Jersey, though it can be found as far south as Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, on occasion.
